SEC. 2-110. RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. All sworn public safety officers and all regular emergency personnel in the employ of the City of Stockton shall reside within a geographic area from which they can reach City Hall within forty-five (45) minutes.
B. The designation of all regular emergency personnel shall be made at the recommendation of affected department heads and approval of the Human Resources Director. If an employee disagrees with such designation, the employee may appeal to the City Manager for final decision.
C. If fifty percent (50%) or more of the salary of any officer or employee is paid directly or indirectly by any other public entity, residence within the boundaries of such entity shall be deemed to be residence within the prescribed geographic area. Residence upon land owned or possessed by the City of Stockton shall be deemed to be residence within the prescribed geographic area.
