Midtown Stockton - Magnolia Historic District
The Magnolia Historic Neighborhood takes
in the north-western
portion of the Midtown.
Primarily composed of
single and multi-family
homes, most of the neighborhood
was designated the Magnolia
Historic District by
the State of California.
The tree-lined streets
contain samples of virtually
all the architectural
styles of California's
most formative period.
One
of the oldest landmark buildings
in the Magnolia Historic District
is the Philomathean
Clubhouse. This former
clubhouse is owned by the
City of Stockton and hosts
regular meetings of the Youth
Advisory Commission other
groups. The building is available
for rent. Find out more information here. |
The
Magnolia Historic District area in Midtown
Stockton is located within the borders of Harding
Way on the North, Park Street on the South,
California Street on the East, and El Dorado
Street on the West.
