Marina West Yacht Club will present the 30th Annual Lighted Boat Parade. A wonderful spectator event for the entire community, Decorated boats will arrive @ approx. 6:00 in downtown Stockton. take one turn in McLeod Lake then return to light 39 where the parade ends. This is a rain or shine event, dress warm and come see the parade. Any boater interested in entering the parade can contact the parade chairman, Lynn Hahn @ 477-7653. Any business wishing to sponsor an award may do so by contacting the parade chairman prior to November 1st.

DAVID REQUIRO, cello = Having captured first prize in both the Irving M. Klein International and Washington International String Competitions, David Requiro is emerging as one of America’s most promising young cellists. At only twenty-three, he enjoys a list of impressive accomplishments, including winning the prestigious 2008 Naumburg International Cello Award, and serving on the Innsbrook Music Festival and Institute faculty.

Stockton Symphony Classics V - Fantastic Finale

PETER TAKÁCS, piano - Described by the New York Times as having “a demonstrably intelligent musical mind,” Romanian-born Mr. Takács began musical studies at the age of four. He arrived in the United States as a teen and has won many prizes and awards, including first prize in the William Kapell International Piano Competition, the C.D. Jackson Award at the Tanglewood Festival, and a special award in the American Music/ Rockefeller Foundation International Competition.
