Purpose of the Committee:
This Council Standing Committee will develop and review policies and activities relating to the rehabilitation of the City, the City's infrastructure and licensing of activities relating to the health, safety, and welfare of citizens and the community in general, including but not limited to the following activities:
1. Building Code, Fire Code, Wastewater Code Update;
2. Redevelopment;
3. Mitigation Fees such as Air Quality and Transportation;
4. General Plan Issues;
5. Street Lights;
6. Park Problems;
7. Public Safety Issues;
8. Mello-Roos Districts;
9. Street Closures;
10. Sewer and Waste Water Issues;
11. Landfill Regulations;
12. Child Care;
13. Licensing Cardrooms; and
14. Undergrounding Utilities.
