Mariposa Lakes Specific Plan
Draft Environmental Impact Report (
DEIR)
This document is an environmental impact report (EIR) prepared to evaluate the potential environmental impacts
of the Mariposa Lakes Specific Plan (MLSP), also referred to as the "proposed project." The proposed project
includes adoption of the MLSP itself and implementation of the associated development proposal.
This EIR has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (California
Code of Regulations [CCR] Section 15000 et seq.). As specified in Section 15367 of the State CEQA Guidelines,
the public agency that has the principal responsibility for carrying out or approving a project is the lead agency for
CEQA compliance. For purposes of the MLSP, the City of Stockton (City) is lead agency under CEQA.
