Chair: Blair Ulring, Chief of Police
Assistant: Jeanetta Ramirez
Beginning Fiscal Year 2006, CHAT:
- Transitioned its focus to the Kentfield Road Area, working closely
with the Kentfield Action Team (KAT), in an effort to promote and enhance
the quality of life for all residents of this area.
- Continued to work closely with the Police, Building and Fire Department,
ensuring safe and adequate housing conditions.
The goal of the Community Health Action Team (CHAT) is to comprehensively
evaluate and address safety and health based problem locations in the
City to provide a healthy and safe living environment for residents.
In its efforts to improve the quality of life in Stockton, the CHAT focuses
on the operations of Multi-Family to Single Family Residences throughout
the community by enforcing the City of Stockton’s Municipal Code.
In addition, the CHAT conducts ongoing residential property inspections;
eradicates neighborhood blight; and utilizes Problem-Oriented Policing
(POP) strategies to address crime issues in the area of assignment, currently
the Kentfield Road Area.
Regular meetings are combined with Kentfield
Action Team (KAT) meetings. |
