Using the Logo
The Stockton community is encouraged to use the Stockton All-America
City logo!
For an electronic version, simply copy the logo from this page. If
you need color or black & white slicks, contact Matt Robinson
at matt.robinson@ci.stockton.ca.us or
call (209) 937-8827.
In order to use the logo, the following procedures must be followed. |
The All-America City
logo, with the year designation and the
trademark symbol, is registered with the
federal government and may only be used
by communities designated by the National
Civic League. Law prohibits any other
use without permission. Any derogatory
or unauthorized use of any kind is prohibited. |
The logo CANNOT be used
in for-profit commercial ventures, such
as affinity cards (visa/mastercards). |
All merchandise bearing
the AAC logo must be approved by both the
National Civic League and the local Stockton
AAC Policy Committee (contact
Matt Robinson, Stockton Public Information
Officer at matt.robinson@ci.stockton.ca.us or
call (209) 937-8827).
These include such items as t-shirts, cups, pens, hats, etc. Any
profit garnered from sale of such items may only be used to defray
delegation expenses for for local non-profit projects. |
The logo MAY be used
on such items as business stationary, phone
book covers, local business and industry
printed materials (including the mastheads
of newsletters and newspapers), local civic
and government organizations' promotional
materials, and like items. The Stockton
AAC Policy or Marketing Group or their
designee must approve all such uses. |
Stockton's name AND
the year of the designation (1999) must
be included in all uses of the AAC logo. |
Colors:
The vertical stripes on the logo are to be printed in PMS 200 (red).
The remainder of the logo is to be printed in PMS 280 (blue). Black
and white versions of the logo may also be used. |
Size:
The logo may be enlarged to any size appropriate for the given print
material or merchandise, but can be no smaller than 1 and a half
inch by one inch, or of a size where all lettering is 20/20 (aided
or unaided) readable. |
